Welcome to the e-Waste Alliance

As a result of the ever increasing need for new, smaller, and faster technology, electrical and electronic waste is now one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world. To make matters worse, it's hazardous and loaded with contaminants that are toxic to the environment.

The range of products that fall under the heading of electronic waste, (e-Waste), is virtually unlimited. Everything in the home or at the workplace that is driven by electricity, including battery operated toys, falls into this category. But what should happen to it when it gets old or just dies?

e-Waste Alliance provides a constructive solution to the problems associated with the disposal of electronic waste. It can often be given a second lease of life for use elsewhere, or through the recovery of materials and unique components, it can lead to the creation of job opportunities or development of new skills to others in the community.

Operating under the guidance of the e-Waste Association of South Africa, (eWASA), e-Waste Alliance ensures that all processes adopted are environmentally sound, and safe in terms of employee working conditions.

e-Waste Alliance seeks to maximize the manual separation of e-Waste in order to achieve:
